Saint Proclus of Ancyra, also known as Proclo, was a revered martyr who met his untimely death during the persecutions of the Roman Emperor Trajan and the governor Maximus. His life and martyrdom serve as an inspiring testimony of unwavering faith and devotion to the Catholic Church. Proclus was born in Ancyra, which is located in Asia Minor, in modern-day Turkey. Not much is known about his early life, but it is believed that he was raised in a devout Christian family and received a solid education in the teachings of the Church.
