Biography

Saint Leobazio, also known as Leobato, was a fifth-century monk and renowned spiritual student of Saint Urso. Born in Lugdunense, Gaul (modern-day France), Leobazio dedicated his life to the pursuit of religious knowledge and the practice of asceticism. Leobazio's spiritual journey began when he entered the monastery of Saint Orso Sénevière, located in Lugdunense. Under the guidance of Saint Urso, a revered monk and spiritual teacher, Leobazio quickly excelled in his studies and displayed great devotion to his faith.
