Biography

Saint Christina of Persia, also known as Kristina, was a revered Christian martyr who met her untimely death in the persecutions led by Khosrau I of Persia. Although not much is known about her life, her martyrdom story has been passed down through generations, preserving her memory as an inspiring example of faith and courage. Born in ancient Persia, in what is now modern-day Iran, Christina grew up during a time when Christians faced immense persecution for their beliefs. It was a time when the Roman and Persian Empires were locked in conflict, and Christianity was viewed as a threat to the established order. As a devout follower of Christ, Christina fearlessly embraced her faith, refusing to renounce it even in the face of great danger.
