Biography

Saint Zeno of Gaza, also known as Zeno of Maïouma, Zeno of Maiuma, or Zenon, was a cousin of Saint Eusebius and Saint Nestabus. He was a monk who lived during a tumultuous period marked by the persecutions of Julian the Apostate. Saint Zeno's unwavering faith helped him endure and survive this challenging time. Born in Gaza, Palestine, Saint Zeno dedicated his life to the pursuit of holiness and the monastic way of life.
