Biography

Saint Theodosius of Oria, also known as Teodosio de Oria, was an esteemed Catholic bishop and peace-maker who lived in the latter part of the 9th century. He was born and raised in Oria, a city in the region of Brindisi, Italy. From an early age, Theodosius displayed a strong desire for knowledge and dedicated himself to his studies. He received his education in Oria, where he had the privilege of being taught by Eastern hermits and monks. Their influence left a profound impact on Theodosius, shaping his spiritual journey and preparing him for his future role within the Church.
