Saint Theodore of Verona, also known as Teodoro, was an early 6th-century bishop of Verona, Italy. He was noted for his tireless preaching and evangelizing efforts among the Goths in the region. Despite the limited information available, his impact on the local community and dedication to spreading the teachings of the Catholic Church were widely recognized.

Born in an era of great social and political change, Saint Theodore dedicated his life to spreading the message of Christianity in Verona. As a bishop, he was known for his eloquence and charisma, which allowed him to effectively communicate with the Goths, a Germanic people who had settled in the area. In 1534, his relics were once again relocated, this time under the Madonna del Popola altar in the cathedral of the Assumption of Mary in Verona.

Recognizing his holiness and the profound impact he had on the local community, Saint Theodore of Verona was canonized as a saint. While the exact date of his canonization is unknown due to the absence of precise historical records, it is believed to have taken place prior to the establishment of the formal Congregation for the Causes of Saints.
