Biography

Saint Regimbald of Speyer, also known as Regimbaut, Regimbeau, Reginbald, Reginbaldus, Reginbold, and Reginhard, was a Benedictine monk and bishop of Speyer. He was born in the early 11th century and lived until his death in 1039. Little is known about Saint Regimbald's early life, including his exact date of birth and his family background. However, it is clear that he dedicated his life to the monastic order, becoming a Benedictine monk at the prestigious monastery of Saints Ulric and Afra in Augsburg, Germany.
