Biography

Saint Libosus of Vaga, also known as Libóso or Lybosus, was a revered Catholic bishop who served in the city of Vaga, modern-day Béja, Tunisia. He was an influential figure during his time and played a significant role in the early Christian community. Born in the 3rd century, Saint Libosus dedicated himself to spreading the teachings of Christ and leading his community. He was acknowledged for his wisdom, knowledge, and exceptional leadership qualities, which led to his appointment as the Bishop of Vaga. One of the notable events in his life was his involvement in the Council of Carthage in the year 256.
