Biography

Saint Jucundus of Bologna, also known as Giocondo or Giocondus, was a bishop of Bologna, Italy. Although not much is known about his early life, it is believed that he was born in the 5th century. Saint Jucundus served as a shepherd for the Christian community in Bologna during a time of great turmoil and uncertainty.
