Biography

Saint Jucundian, also known as Jocondien, Jucindin, Jucundianus, or Jucindien, was a martyr whose life and deeds have been largely lost to history. While not much information has survived regarding his life, it is believed that he was of African origin. Saint Jucundian is classified as a Pre-Congregation saint, which means that he was venerated as a saint prior to the establishment of the formal process of canonization by the Catholic Church.
