Saint John of Montemarano, also known as Giovanni di Montemarano, was a prominent figure in the Catholic Church during the 11th century. Born in Montemarano, Italy, he was a devout Benedictine monk who later became the first bishop of Montemarano in 1074. John's early life and education are not well-documented, but it is known that he entered the Benedictine order at a young age.
