Saint Hilary of Pavia, also known as Hilarius or Hilary of Vusillo, was a revered Catholic saint and Bishop of Pavia in northern Italy. He lived during the 4th century and played a significant role in combating the heresy of Arianism. Born in an unknown year, Hilary dedicated his life to the service of God and became renowned for his deep knowledge of the Catholic faith. As the Bishop of Pavia, he firmly defended the orthodox teachings of the Church against the Arian heresy, which denied the divinity of Jesus Christ.
