Saint Guethenoc, also known by various names like Guéhénec, Guéhenneuc, Guéhenocus, Guéneuc, Guennec, Guénoc, Guethenoc, Guéthénoc, Guéthnec, Gueveneux, Guézennec, Guinau, Guinnous, Guinou, Guithénoc, Guithern, Gwezheneg, Hinec, Ithizieux, Izinieux, Venec, Veneuc, Vennec, Venoc, Vinec, Wéthénoc, and Wihenoc, was a revered Catholic saint. He was born as the son of Saint Fragan and Saint Gwen and was the brother of Saint Jacut and Saint Gwenaloe. Together with his siblings, Jacut, and Gwenaloe, Saint Guethenoc was driven from Britain to Brittany in the 5th century by invading Saxons.
