Saint Gerold of Cologne, also known as Geroldus or Gerardus, was a thirteenth-century pilgrim who hailed from Cologne, Germany. He is recognized as a martyr and is honored in both Cologne and Cremona, Italy, where he tragically met his untimely death at the hands of robbers. Though limited information exists about his life, his story serves as a testament to the courage and faith of those who journeyed in devotion during the medieval period.
