Biography

Saint Gemellus of Ancyra, also known as Gemellus of Edessa and Gemellus of Paphlagonia, was a Christian saint who was martyred during the persecutions of Julian the Apostate. His feast day is celebrated on December 10th. Although limited information is available about his life, the details we know shed light on his undeniable faith and valor in the face of persecution. Gemellus was born in Edessa, a city in Paphlagonia, which is an ancient region located in present-day Turkey.
