Biography

Saint Exuperantius of Como, also known as Esuperanzio, was the sixth bishop of Como, Italy, serving in this role around the year 495. He was born around 400 in Greece and later dedicated his life to the service of God and the Church. One of the defining aspects of Saint Exuperantius' life was his fervent opposition to Arianism, a heretical belief that denied the divinity of Jesus Christ.
