Saint Eustachio of Naples, also known as Eustasio or Eustatius, was a mid-3rd-century bishop of Naples, Italy. Unfortunately, not much is known about his early life or his family background. His reputation primarily rests on his role as a holy bishop and his contributions to the early Christian community in Naples. Saint Eustachio served as the bishop of Naples during a time of great turmoil for Christians in the Roman Empire. The Christian community faced severe persecution from the Roman authorities, who sought to suppress the growing influence of Christianity. Despite the dangers and threats posed by the Roman authorities, Saint Eustachio fearlessly defended the faith and provided spiritual guidance to his flock. Since then, his feast days have been celebrated on 29 March according to the Roman Martyrology and on 10 May in the Archdiocese of Naples, Italy.
