Saint Buriana of Cornwall, also known as Berriona, Burian, or Buryan, was a sixth-century anchoress hailing from Ireland. She is widely venerated as a missionary and Saint in Cornwall, with the town of Saint Buryan being named after her. While details about her life are scarce, various accounts and legends have been passed down through generations, shedding light on her faith and miraculous deeds. According to some sources, Saint Buriana may have been the daughter of an Irish king.
