Saint Bernold of Ottobeuren, also known as Bernoldus or Bernardus, was a Benedictine monk and priest of Ottobeuren in Bavaria during the first half of the 11th century. He was renowned as a "wonder worker" in his time. Unfortunately, not much information is available about his early life and background. Saint Bernold dedicated his life to serving God as a member of the Benedictine order. The Benedictine monks follow the Rule of Saint Benedict, which emphasizes prayer, contemplation, and moderate living. Saint Bernold's reputation as a "wonder worker" stems from the numerous miracles attributed to him during his lifetime.
