Saint Annobert of Séez, also known as Alnobert, Alnobertus, or Aunobert, was a prominent figure in the Catholic Church during the 7th century. Born in an unknown date, Saint Annobert dedicated his life to the service of God and made significant contributions as a monk and bishop. Little is known about Saint Annobert's early life, including his birthplace and family background. However, historical records indicate that he entered the monastic life and became a monk at Almenèches, situated in present-day France. This decision showcased his deep devotion to God and his desire to live a life of spiritual purity and discipline. Due to his exceptional piety, wisdom, and leadership skills, Saint Annobert was eventually appointed as the Bishop of Séez, a diocese located in Normandy, France, around the year 685.
