Biography

Saint Anathalon of Milan, also known by various names such as Anatalone, Anatelon, Anatalo, Anatolo, Anatolio, Anatalofle, Anatelofl, Anatolofle, and Anatolius, was a first-century bishop of Milan in Italy. He is believed to have been a spiritual student of Saint Barnabas, one of the Apostles, and was assigned to the region of Milan by him. Born in an unknown location and date, not much is known about Saint Anathalon's early life. He was, however, deeply influenced and guided by Saint Barnabas in matters of spirituality and faith. Saint Barnabas recognized his potential and appointed him as a bishop in the city of Milan, entrusting him with the role of proclaiming and spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ in the entire region.
