Biography

Saint Africus of Comminges, also known as Afrique of Comminges, was a prominent figure in the Catholic Church during the seventh century. He served as the bishop of Comminges, a region located in present-day France. Although not much is known about his early life, Africus is celebrated for his remarkable devotion to the faith and his efforts to build and strengthen the Church in his diocese. Africus of Comminges played a vital role in spreading the teachings of Christianity, especially during a time when the Church faced numerous challenges.
