Blessed Thérèse Henriette Faurie, also known as Marie of the Annunciation, was a Sacramentine nun who became a martyr during the French Revolution. She was born on February 13, 1770, in Sérignan, a small village in Vaucluse, France.
Thérèse Henriette entered the Sacramentine Order and embraced a life dedicated to prayer and contemplation. On July 13, 1794, she was guillotined in Orange, Vaucluse, France, along with many other religious individuals who refused to renounce their beliefs. Her unwavering dedication to her Catholic faith and her willingness to sacrifice her life for her beliefs made her a true witness of Christ's love and a hero of the faith.

On March 19, 1925, Pope Pius XI proclaimed her to be venerable, recognizing her heroic virtue and her life of sanctity. Soon after, on May 10, 1925, Pope Pius XI beatified her, conferring upon her the title of Blessed Thérèse Henriette Faurie.
Blessed Thérèse Henriette's feast day is celebrated on July 13, commemorating the day of her martyrdom. Additionally, she is also honored on July 9 as one of the Martyrs of Orange, a group of individuals who suffered a similar fate during the French Revolution.
