Salvador Estrugo's early years were marked by a deep sense of faith and a calling to the priesthood. He pursued his studies in theology, eventually becoming ordained as a priest. On March 11, 2001, Pope John Paul II further honored Salvador by beatifying him. This beatification ceremony served as a public recognition of Salvador Estrugo's martyrdom, declaring him Blessed Salvador Estrugo Salves.
