Recognized for his intellect and dedication, Pjetôr √áuni furthered his theological education at the Propaganda Fide Congregation in Rome, Italy.

On March 23, 1940, Pjetôr √áuni was ordained as a priest of the archdiocese of Shkodrô-Pult.
