Subsequently, on 25 March 2017, Pope Francis beatified Pascuál Roda in a ceremony that took place in the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Aguadulce, Almería, Spain. The beatification ceremony was presided over by Cardinal Angelo Amato, further emphasizing the significance of Pascuál's life and martyrdom within the Catholic Church.
