Biography

Blessed Micaela Hernán Martínez was born on May 6, 1881, in Burgos, Spain. She was a devout Catholic and devoted her life to serving God and others. Micaela joined the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, a religious order founded by Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Louise de Marillac.

As a nun, Blessed Micaela experienced a strong calling to help those in need and to spread the love of God.
