Blessed Margueriterose De Gordon, also known as Aimée of Jesus, was a Sacramentine nun who met a tragic fate during the French Revolution. She was born on 29 September 1733 in Mondragon, Vaucluse, France. As a devout Catholic, she entered the religious life and became a member of the Sacramentine Order, known for their dedication to the sacraments and their life of prayer.

Sadly, on 16 July 1794, in the town of Orange, Vaucluse, France, Blessed Margueriterose De Gordon was guillotined for her unwavering commitment to her faith and refusal to renounce her vows. Alongside her fellow believers, she became one of the Martyrs of Orange, commemorated on 9 July.
The heroic sacrifice and unwavering faith of Blessed Margueriterose De Gordon did not go unnoticed. On 19 March 1925, Pope Pius XI recognized her martyrdom and proclaimed her venerable, acknowledging her extraordinary witness to the Catholic faith and devotion to Christ even in the face of persecution. Subsequently, on 10 May 1925, Pope Pius XI beatified her, recognizing her as a blessed and an example for all of the faithful.
