Biography

Blessed Luciano Verdejo Acuña was a married layman in the diocese of Almeria, Spain, who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He was born on October 26, 1885, in Almeria, Spain, and lived a faithful and devoted life as a husband and father.

Luciano Verdejo Acuña grew up in a devout Catholic family and embraced the teachings of the faith from an early age. He married and settled in the diocese of Almeria, where he actively participated in the life of the Church as a layperson.
