Biography

Blessed Juan Mata Díez was a layman in the diocese of Burgos, Spain. He was born on 11 February 1903 in Ubierna, Burgos, Spain. Juan lived during a tumultuous time in Spanish history, marked by the Spanish Civil War.

Juan Mata Díez was a devout and pious man who dedicated his life to his Catholic faith. He actively participated in the life of his local parish, serving as an example of Christian virtue and a source of inspiration among his fellow parishioners.
