Blessed José Ayala Garrido, also known as Fr. José Ayala Garrido, was a Catholic priest of the diocese of Córdoba, Spain. He dedicated his life in service to the community of Castro del Río, a town in the province of Córdoba. Born on October 9, 1883, in Baena, Córdoba, Spain, he displayed a deep devotion to his faith from a young age.
After completing his seminary studies, José Ayala Garrido was ordained to the priesthood, and he faithfully carried out his pastoral duties in Castro del Río. The beatification recognition was presided over by Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, reaffirming the enduring significance of his life and martyrdom.
