Blessed Jaume Caballé Bru, also known as Domingo, was a Catholic priest and a member of the Benedictine Solesmes Congregation. He was born on May 25, 1883, in Villalba de los Arcos, Tarragona, Spain. Blessed Jaume dedicated his life to serving God and spreading the message of Christ.
With a deep faith and a strong calling, Blessed Jaume pursued his vocation of priesthood and joined the Benedictine Solesmes Congregation. He committed himself to a life of prayer, study, and service within the religious community.
During the troubling period of the Spanish Civil War, marked by political tension and religious persecution, Blessed Jaume remained faithful to his ministry. He courageously continued to carry out his pastoral duties despite the dangers and threats that he faced.
Unfortunately, this unwavering commitment to his faith led to his martyrdom. On August 28, 1936, Blessed Jaume Caballé Bru was martyred in Barbastro, Huesca, Spain. He refused to renounce his Catholic faith and remained steadfast in his devotion to God until his last breath.
Blessed Jaume's sacrifice and steadfastness in the face of persecution and violence have inspired countless believers throughout history. His example serves as a reminder of the importance of living out one's faith even in the most challenging circumstances.

Later, on October 13, 2013, Pope Francis beatified him during a special ceremony held at the Complex Educatiu in Tarragona, Spain. The chief celebrant of the beatification was Cardinal Angelo Amato, an esteemed participant in the event.
Today, Blessed Jaume Caballé Bru is remembered as an exemplary priest and martyr who gave his life for the sake of his faith and the love of God.
