His beatification followed on November 11, 2017, in a ceremony celebrated at the Palacio Vistalegre Arena in Carabanchel, Madrid, Spain.
The beatification ceremony was presided over by Cardinal Angelo Amato, who served as the Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints at that time, along with Cardinal Carlos Osoro Sierra of Madrid.
