With the support and guidance of Baron de Renti, Henry founded the Confraternity of Saints Crispin and Crispinian, also known as Freres Cordonniers (the Brothers of the Shoemaker). This confraternity aimed to engage cobblers in regular prayer, promote moral and ethical values within their trade, and provide support and assistance to those in need among their community.
During his time in Paris, Henry lived a life of simplicity, humility, and selflessness. He dedicated countless hours to his work as a shoemaker, always pursuing excellence in his craft. With a gentle and caring nature, he not only sought to provide for the needs of his clients but also offered them kind words of encouragement and spiritual guidance.
