Biography

Blessed Francesc Casademunt Ribas, also known as Brother Benild Josep, was a member of the Christian Brothers and a teacher who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He was born on February 5, 1872, in Llofriu, Girona, Spain.

Francesc Casademunt Ribas joined the Christian Brothers, a religious order dedicated to education, and dedicated his life to teaching young students. He was known for his compassion, dedication, and unwavering faith in his vocation. As an educator, he sought to instill strong moral values and foster intellectual growth in his students.
