Biography

Blessed Eugenio Andrés Amo was a Dominican friar and a martyr of the Spanish Civil War. He was born on September 6, 1862, in Villavedón, Burgos, Spain. Growing up in a devout Catholic family, Eugenio showed great piety and a calling to the religious life from an early age.

In his youth, Eugenio joined the Dominican Order and was ordained a priest. Known for his humility, kindness, and deep spirituality, he dedicated his life to serving God and his community.
