He was beatified on 21 October 2017 by Pope Francis at the Basilica of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. The beatification ceremony was presided over by Archbishop Angelo Amato, who represented the Pope.
Blessed Emiliano Pascual Abad is commemorated on 19 October and also recognized as one of the 109 Spanish Claretian Martyrs, whose feast day is celebrated on 1 February.
