Blessed Diego Hompanera París was an Augustinian friar who was born on 12 November 1915 in Muñeca de la Peña, Palencia, Spain. He lived during a tumultuous period in Spanish history, marked by the Spanish Civil War. Blessed Diego dedicated his life to serving God and the Church, and through his unwavering faith, he ultimately became a martyr for his beliefs.
