Biography

Blessed Conrad of Saxony, also known as Conrad of Germany, was a Franciscan friar and missionary preacher who dedicated his life to spreading the faith among Muslims and Eastern Orthodox Christians in the region of Ircania, near the Caspian Sea. Born in Saxony, modern-day Germany, Conrad felt a calling to serve God and became a member of the Franciscan Order.

Conrad's missionary work in Ircania was challenging, as the region was predominantly populated by Muslims and Eastern Orthodox Christians who practiced their faith fervently. Undeterred by the obstacles before him, Conrad fearlessly preached the Gospel and sought to bring the message of Christ's love and salvation to those who had yet to hear it.
