Biography

Blessed Christopher De Albarran, also known as Christopher of Albarrán, was a Mercedarian priest and missionary who dedicated his life to the evangelization of the indigenous people in the region of modern-day Peru, Argentina, and Paraguay during the 16th century. Born in an unknown year, he became a member of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy, commonly known as the Mercedarians.

Little is known about the early life and background of Blessed Christopher De Albarran, as historical records documenting his birth or family are scarce. However, his impactful missionary work in South America sheds light on his lasting legacy.
