Biography

Blessed Armand of Zierikzee, also known as Armandus of Zierikzee or Armandus van der Hulle, was a highly esteemed Franciscan friar and influential Bible scholar during the early 16th century. Born in the mid-15th century on Schouwen-Duiveland Island in Zeeland, Netherlands, he dedicated his life to studying and teaching the sacred scriptures.

Armand's exceptional linguistic skills allowed him to delve deep into the original texts of the Bible. With his profound knowledge of Greek, Hebrew, and Chaldean languages, he was able to unravel and comprehend the intricate meanings and nuances of the biblical texts.
