Biography

Blessed Antoni Pedró Minguella, also known as Blessed Antoni Minguella, was a Roman Catholic priest from the archdiocese of Tarragona, Spain. He was born on March 22, 1874, in Guimerá, Tarragona, Spain. As a young man, he felt the call to serve God and pursued his studies in theology.

After being ordained as a priest, Blessed Antoni Minguella dedicated his life to serving the faithful in his local community. He was known for his compassion, humility, and deep faith. He actively participated in pastoral work, guiding and supporting his parishioners in their spiritual journey.

During the turbulent years of the Spanish Civil War, Blessed Antoni Minguella courageously stood by his principles and continued to minister to his flock. Sadly, his unwavering faith and commitment to the Gospel ultimately led to his martyrdom. On August 19, 1936, he was executed in Belianes, Lleida, Spain, for his refusal to renounce his religious beliefs.
