Blessed Alexius became a member of the Norbertine monastery in Hradisko, Olomouc, Moravia, where he eventually achieved the rank of Canon. He continued to occupy this esteemed position for the remaining eight years of his life.

However, in 1696, his remains were re-interred before the altar of Our Lady at the Holy Mountain pilgrimage center, closely associated with his former monastery in Hradisko, Olomouc, Moravia. This act highlighted the significance of his spiritual legacy and his close bond with the site.
