Biography

Blessed Albert of Steinfeld, also known as Albert of Kall, was a Benedictine monk who is remembered as the first abbot of the Premonstratensian abbey in Steinfeld, Germany. Very little is known about his early life, but his profound devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and his significant contributions to the abbey are well-documented.

In 1184, Albert was appointed as the first abbot of the newly established Premonstratensian abbey in Steinfeld.
